Alessandro Pittorino

ALESSANDRO PITTORINO is heralded as “a virtuoso organist and a top-flight musician whose enthusiasm for the organ and for its artistic future is refreshing and addictive” in a 5 star review by Australia’s Limelight Magazine. A masters graduate of the Juilliard School, Alessandro studied with the world’s only Grammy Award Winning Organist, Paul Jacobs. Hailed by Germany’s BR-Klassik as an “Extraordinary young organist”, this Australian organist has performed as soloist and collaborator throughout Australia, the UK and the USA.

Alessandro currently resides in Perth, Western Australia, where he is Artist in Residence at the Uniting Church in the City. With his music story ever-evolving, Pittorino is also known as an aspiring choral director and orchestral conductor, noted for his innovative music projects and engaging programs, often injecting new life into beloved classical works.

Alessandro also serves as organ teacher at the University of Western Australia, and has quickly gained a reputation as being an innovative and motivating teacher. His students have gone on to study at institutions like Yale University and Oxford University, and he delights in finding each unique voice in his students.
